Math and Reading groups
Throughout the day students at RUES participate in math and/or reading groups. These groups are in addition to the math and reading that is taught to all students as part of our curriculum. For 30 minutes students will focus on the skills they need to be at their best in a subject. Sometimes groups target specific skills to fill in a gap or provide extra practice towards mastery, while other groups work to extend the application of skills beyond the typical grade level expectation.
Parent/Student Handbook
The parent-student handbook is the guide to all things RUES. It discusses school policies and procedures as well as expectations and schedules. Please take time to review this handbook prior to each school year and consult it as necessary throughout the year. (The handbook file can be found at the bottom of the page)
Parent Compact
The RUES parent compact is an agreement between parents, students, and the staff at Rendezvous. We believe this compact helps clarify the expectations we have for each other so that there is clarity in our goals.
Achievement Pack
Each quarter we like to work towards a specific goal as a school. When we meet these goals, we like to celebrate. The achievement pack is an honor that all students can achieve with a little bit of work. At times we may not achieve our goals, but it is never too late to try again the next time. Each quarter students can qualify for the achievement pack by turning in all classwork, all homework, and all reading logs.
