Welcome to RUES!! First, let me thank you for your support and understanding as we, as a school and as a community, responded and continue to respond to COVID-19. I am extremely proud of the way our Rendezvous staff has handled the demand of adjusting to various types of learning environments and sanitization protocols. We have worked together to develop a plan that will protect everyone as we continue to educate our students during the most unusual of circumstances. Despite our very best efforts, there is no way to plan for every possible scenario. We’re going to meet often, communicate well, and adjust as needed.
While we are in the business of educating, our first priority is the safety of our students and our employees. Be assured, we have been working diligently on our plans and expectations and are hopeful they will allow us to move seamlessly between in-person, alternate day schedule, and home-based learning as may be required. Please be our partners in ensuring the best experience for your child.
If you haven’t already, you should be receiving personal communication from your child’s teacher before the end of day tomorrow. They will confirm placement, try to answer any questions, and give information related to Monday’s open house and the start of school. Please see the attached document, provided by the district, explaining basic expectations. You will receive A LOT of information in the coming week. We are here to help, so please reach out with any questions, concerns, or suggestions.
